Community Manager

Are you a people-person who is both tech-savvy and loves communicating? Energetic and smiles all around? Hive Workspace is looking for a Community Manager (m/f) who loves to work hard and play hard.

Join our workspace This full time position is based in Gothenburg and will report directly to the office manager. The community manager are an integral part of coworkingspace and are basically the heart and soul of the place.

The main responsibilities of a community manager at Hive Workspace include (but is not limited to):

  • Be the community’s “go to person” and make it unique and collaborative – both internally and nexternally
  • Establish a strong network of members by one-on-one socializing, events planning and networking efforts
  • Establish the presence of the Hive Workspace brand in your city
  • Assist with creating an amazing customer experience within our community and properties
  • Solve all members-related issues
  • Ensure that the entire location is fully operational and processes are running smoothly
  • Preserve the highest level of service to our members
  • Coordinate an on-going efforts with operations and maintenance at Hive Workspace
  • Take an active role in the growth of the Hive Workspace community
  • Generate leads
  • Conduct tours and closing deals
  • Constantly look for new offers and benefits for our growing community and convey the message to the members
  • Report according to the reports format in the company

Experience & Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales experience – sales experience with different phase stages (prospect, develop and closing the deal) is preferred
  • High level of English and Swedish – MUST!
  • Experience in marketing writing, social media etc.- a plus

Front desk  and event responsible

The front desk ensures all members and guests are greeted and assisted upon arrival and that the space is maintained in accordance with upper management’s expectations. 

Who is the Front Desk and Event responsible?

This full time position is based in Gothenburg and bears great responsibility. You will be the ‘face’ of Hive Workspace, the first and last point-of-contact for anyone entering the building. Reflecting all that the company represents, you should be a service-oriented people-person with strong interpersonal-skills. You are a multi-tasker with an absolute can-do attitude.

Your day at Hive Workspace.

The ruler of the lobby, you put a smile on the face of anyone who walks through our doors and set the tone for a warm and welcoming environment. You take care of all front desk logistics and assist with all building operations and management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all members, potential members, guests and VIPs
  • Offer water/coffee/assistance to all upon arrival
  • Book conferences
  • Host external events
  • Accepts and takes responsibility to distribute packages, sort mail and deliveries
  • Attend to multiple companies’ needs at any given moment through multi-tasking
  • Provide welcome packages and assist with member needs
  • ensure space is set properly, clean and functioning
  • Keep front desk and reception area clean, organized and stocked
  • Take care of our internship program (find interns, interview them,  educational institution, completed evaluations, etc.)
  • Responsible for setting up the café and upon arrival (stocking the refrigerator, coffee, making fruit water,
  • Check on and maintain stock of partner product throughout the space (making sure the fridge is stocked with proper product, snacks are stocked, fruit water is full, printer supplies are stocked, reception and lounge area are tidy and organized, etc.) and notify the Corporate Operations Strategist of anything that is running low
  • Manage and produce member correspondence through newsletters, email blasts, event invites, etc. in partnership with the Community Manager
  • In essence, the role is a hybrid of receptionist and junior community manager

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service
  • Personable, welcoming and friendly
  • Able to answer questions and solve problems under Office manager
  • Mindful of tasks and self-starting
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple requests at once Requirements
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, operational manager or relevant position

Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)

  • Computer competency (knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac and PC Operating Systems, blueprint + co’s internal backend systems, sound system, Pandora, etc.)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

FRONT DESK INTERN

Reflecting all that the company represents, you should be a service-oriented people-person with strong interpersonal-skills. You are a multi-tasker with an absolute can-do attitude.

Your day at Hive Workspace.

What you will be responsible for, mainly.

  • Monitoring the front desk during operation hours​
  • Greeting and checking-in visitors
  • Scheduling tours and monitoring walk-in requests
  • Book conferences
  • Host external events
  • Being a point-of-contact for your building on matters pertaining to operations and managements
  • Assisting with building maintenance issues
  • Sorting through mail and packages

Requirements

Do you have the following experience?

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service or administrative experience – a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer tools
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

Critical competencies for success:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities are a must for this high-paced role
  • You must be a great communicator who is able to convey messages in a clear and concise manner
